What About Horses?

We appreciate hearing those stories, but Carvell & Co. does not make veterinary or medical claims for the product. Customer reports about use on animals are anecdotal and should not be interpreted as evidence that the balm treats an injury, illness or veterinary condition.
Horse owners should use appropriate judgment and consult a veterinarian when an animal has an injury, persistent discomfort, skin problem or other health concern.
Why We Are Careful About Claims
There is a difference between sharing what customers have told us and promising that a product will produce a particular medical result.
Carvell & Co. chooses to stay on the right side of that distinction.
We can tell you how our balms are made. We can tell you what ingredients they contain. We can tell you that customers have purchased thousands of jars over the years and that many have returned for more.
What we will not do is promise that a topical balm can diagnose, treat or cure a medical condition.
